Bio
Recruited from Prahran in the VFA, Jack Booth was a diminutive footballer who joined St Kilda during the list-scramble of the Second World War. Standing just 170cm, he arrived at the Junction Oval as a 25-year-old mature-age recruit to bolster a Saints lineup depleted by enlistments. He debuted in a difficult 1943 campaign that saw the club claim the wooden spoon, battling against bigger bodies as a small option through the midfield and forward pocket. Booth managed 14 senior appearances across two seasons before departing the VFL to return to the Association with Prahran in 1945.
