Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Tasmanian club Cananore, Jack Cashman established himself as a dangerous roving forward for Fitzroy during the late 1920s and early 1930s. A consistent avenue to goal who could rotate through the midfield, he topped the Maroons' goalkicking in both 1928 and 1931, proving to be a reliable contributor during a difficult era for the club at Brunswick Street. After nine seasons and 85 games with Fitzroy, Cashman crossed to Carlton for the 1935 season, but the move yielded little impact. He managed just eight senior appearances for the Blues in his final year before retiring from VFL football.
