Bio
A mature-age recruit from VFA club Prahran, Jack Diprose was already 27 years old when he was given his chance at VFL level in 1933. Brought to Arden Street to add experienced toughness to a North Melbourne lineup that was still struggling to establish itself in the league, he played primarily as a defender who focused on stopping opponents rather than generating drive. He featured regularly throughout the 1933 and 1934 seasons, offering grit in the back half, but was unable to impact the scoreboard during his 19-game stint. Diprose's brief tenure in the royal blue and white concluded at the end of 1934, after which he drifted out of the senior competition.
