Bio
A versatile utility born in Geelong, Jack Dunstone played a single prominent season for the Pivotonians in 1923 before forging a successful career in the country. Standing 180cm, he was capable of filling almost any role on the field and was noted for his strong overhead marking and long kicking. Dunstone established himself as a regular in the senior lineup during his debut year, playing 14 games and featuring in the club's Semi Final loss to Fitzroy. Despite appearing to have a promising VFL future, he departed the league at the end of the season to move to the Wimmera district. He joined Rupanyup in 1924 and later became a key figure for Nhill, where his durability and ability to plug gaps in defence, attack, or the midfield made him a standout country footballer of the era.
