Bio
Recruited from Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges, Jack Forty was a promising mid-sized utility who made an immediate impression upon arriving at the Junction Oval. Described by the press as St Kilda's "find" of the 1927 season, he stood 177cm and broke into the senior side to play seven games and kick one goal in his debut year. However, his football journey and life were tragically cut short when he passed away in July 1928 at the age of just 22, denying the Saints the chance to see his potential fully realised.
