Bio
Jack Graham was originally recruited by Richmond with pick 53 in the 2016 National Draft, a selection that proved to be a massive bargain given his junior pedigree as a Larke Medallist. He made an immediate impact at Punt Road, etching his name into Tigers folklore by playing in the 2017 premiership victory in just his fifth senior game, where he famously executed a disciplined tagging role on Rory Sloane. A big-bodied, defensive-minded midfielder known for his elite tackling pressure and gut running, Graham became a structural pillar of the Tigers' dynasty. His reputation for courage was cemented during the 2019 Preliminary Final when he played out the match with a dislocated shoulder, a sacrifice that cost him a spot in that year's Grand Final side, though he returned to claim a second premiership medallion in 2020.
Rising to the role of vice-captain, Graham embodied the "Richmond Man" ethos through his work rate and selflessness, but with the Tigers entering a significant rebuild, he exercised his free agency rights at the end of 2024 to join West Coast. The move allowed him to reunite with familiar coaching staff and offered the Eagles a hardened premiership body to support their developing engine room. Now establishing himself in the west, Graham provides the Eagles with essential two-way accountability and veteran leadership, tasked with setting professional standards for the club's emerging midfield group.
