Teams

Jack Hansen was a forward who made a brief appearance for St Kilda during the club's difficult post-war era. Recruited to the Junction Oval for the 1920 season, he donned the club's temporary "Belgian" colours of red, yellow, and black—worn in place of the traditional crest during and immediately after the war. Hansen showed some promise in attack, booting four goals in his eight senior appearances, a respectable return given the Saints finished the year with the wooden spoon and only two wins. His short VFL career coincided with the return of 43-year-old club legend Vic Cumberland, but like many players trying to establish themselves in a struggling side, Hansen was unable to secure a long-term spot and departed the league after a single season.
