Bio
Recruited from Preston in the VFA while serving as a Warrant Officer in the RAAF, Harrow was a classic example of the wartime footballer who provided crucial depth during a chaotic era. Standing 183cm, he possessed the size to play as a key position utility and was called into the Fitzroy senior side midway through the 1944 season. Although the "Gorillas" (as the club was known at the time) went on to win the premiership that September, Harrow’s VFL career was restricted to just two consecutive appearances in Rounds 10 and 11 before he returned to his military duties and life outside the league's top tier.
