Bio
Born in Geelong, John "Jack" Lee was a local product who earned a brief opportunity with the Pivotonians during the early years of the VFL. Recruited from the local district leagues, he broke into the senior side during the 1903 season, a competitive year for the club that saw them reach the Semi Finals. Lee managed three senior appearances as the team battled for position on the ladder, but he found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in a lineup that featured established stars like Teddy Rankin and Peter Burns. Unable to retain his place as the club pushed towards the finals campaign, his tenure at Corio Oval was limited to that single season before he moved on from the league level. He later settled in the Ballarat region, where he lived until his passing in 1947.
