Stats
Bio
Hailing from the New South Wales town of Holbrook, Jack Loes was a tall follower who briefly featured for St Kilda during the 1932 season. Standing 183cm, a significant height for the era, he was recruited from the Riverina to bolster the Saints' big man stocks and debuted in Round 5 against Footscray. He held his spot for four consecutive matches, including a hard-fought appearance against Carlton on his 22nd birthday, but was unable to impact the scoreboard or cement a long-term position in the side. His VFL career was ultimately confined to that single month of football before he departed the club, eventually returning to the country where he remained a notable local figure in the Tumbarumba region.
