Bio
A hulking key forward recruited from Kyneton as a mature-age rookie, Jack Redpath became a cult figure at the Western Bulldogs for his imposing physical presence and contested marking strength. Selected in the 2012 Rookie Draft, he spent his early years developing in the VFL before establishing himself as a formidable target inside 50 capable of crashing packs and converting set shots. His career was defined by resilience against significant injury setbacks; having finally cemented his spot in the senior side during the 2016 season, he suffered a third career ACL tear just weeks before the finals, a cruel blow that cost him a place in the club's historic premiership team. Although he returned to play the following year, ongoing degenerative knee issues ultimately forced him to retire in 2018, concluding a career marked by unfulfilled potential but immense determination.
