Stats
Bio
A wartime recruit who played his football as a follower, Jack Stock featured for Melbourne during the final two years of the Second World War. Standing 185cm, he provided a competitive option in the ruck and around the ground but found opportunities scarce once the league returned to full strength in 1946. After leaving the Demons, he crossed to Ormond where he became a genuine star of the amateur competition, playing over 200 games and representing the VAFA at state level. Stock's legacy was ultimately defined by his longevity and leadership in the amateurs, where he served as both a premiership player and senior coach.
