Bio
Recruited from local nurseries East Geelong and Geelong College, Jack Watt was a serviceable follower and utility who provided depth for the Pivotonians during their pre-war era. After debuting in 1909, he spent the entire 1910 season out of the senior side before earning a recall, eventually seeking greater consistency with a move to Melbourne in 1913. He became a regular fixture in the Redlegs' lineup for eighteen months before a rare mid-season clearance in 1914 saw him cross to St Kilda to finish the year. Watt's journeyman career was effectively brought to a close by the outbreak of the Great War, where he enlisted and served overseas as a driver in the mechanical transport division.
