Bio
Recruited from Mortlake in Victoria's Western District, Jack Williams was a diminutive forward who made a brief appearance for Fitzroy during the 1930 VFL season. Standing just 171cm, he operated primarily as a small forward or resting rover, managing to average a goal a game across his short tenure. He showed flashes of potential at the top level, most notably booting two goals in a comfortable win over Hawthorn at Brunswick Street in Round 9. Despite this impact, he was unable to secure a regular spot in the Maroons' lineup and his VFL career concluded after just four senior matches in a single season.
