Bio
Recruited as a Queensland zone selection via Morningside, Jackson Allen was a composed defender who originally hailed from South Australia. He arrived at the Gold Coast Suns with a reputation for elite distribution, specifically noted for a penetrating right boot that allowed him to rebound effectively from the back half. Despite his disposal efficiency, Allen struggled to command a regular spot in the Suns' inaugural setup, managing just four senior appearances over three seasons while playing extensively in the reserves. Following his delisting at the end of 2014, he carved out a successful tenure in the NEAFL, eventually serving as a co-captain for the Aspley Hornets.
