Bio
Selected as a mature-age recruit from Woodville-West Torrens with pick 59 in the 2020 National Draft, Jacob Wehr arrived at Greater Western Sydney as a polished ball-user known for his penetrating left boot. Operating primarily as a rebounding defender and wingman, he offered the Giants reliable drive and intercept capability, yet struggled to cement a permanent position in the senior side over five seasons. After 39 games in charcoal and orange, often oscillating between the starting 22 and the emergency list, Wehr returned to his home state of South Australia to join Port Adelaide ahead of the 2026 season. He joins the Power looking to revitalise his career, offering experienced depth and elite distribution skills to their defensive rotation.
