Bio
A Gold Coast Academy graduate and Broadbeach junior, Jake Rogers was secured by the Suns with pick 14 in the 2023 National Draft after the club matched a bid from Sydney. Standing at just 172cm, the tenacious midfielder-forward quickly endeared himself to fans with his elite agility, defensive pressure, and clean hands in congestion, drawing early comparisons to teammate Touk Miller. He made his debut in 2024 and earned a Rising Star nomination in just his second game, gathering 22 disposals in a standout performance against West Coast. While he is still building the endurance and size required for a full-time midfield role, Rogers remains a classy developing talent who adds speed and creativity to the Suns' rotation.
