Bio
The son of inaugural Crow and media personality Stephen Rowe, James Rowe arrived at West Lakes as a mature-age recruit after dominating the SANFL with Woodville-West Torrens. Selected with pick 38 in the 2020 National Draft following a premiership and Ken Farmer Medal-winning campaign, he immediately slotted into the Crows' forward line as a crafty goal-sneak with strong finishing instincts. Rowe played 36 games over two seasons, providing a reliable avenue to goal during a rebuilding phase for the club, but he often faced scrutiny regarding his defensive pressure and consistency. With the emergence of high-end draft talent in the small forward position, he was squeezed out of the senior side and delisted at the conclusion of the 2022 season, subsequently returning to state league football.
