Bio
Recruited from East Fremantle with pick 24 in the 2010 National Draft, Jamie Cripps began his career at St Kilda, where he showed early glimpses of potential across 16 games. However, the pull of home proved strong, and he requested a trade back to Western Australia after just two seasons, joining the West Coast Eagles ahead of the 2013 campaign. While often flying under the radar compared to high-profile teammates, Cripps quickly established himself as a model of consistency, transitioning into a high-half-forward role defined by elite aerobic endurance and relentless defensive pressure inside 50.
A key architect of the Eagles' forward line chemistry, Cripps became renowned for his heavy work rate to support the midfield before pushing back hard to impact the scoreboard. His selfless playstyle was a critical factor in West Coast's 2018 premiership triumph, where his tackling and ability to create space allowed the club's key forwards to thrive. Having surpassed the 250-game and 300-goal milestones, Cripps stands as a distinguished servant of the club, continuing to provide veteran leadership and a standard-setting work ethic for the Eagles' developing forward group.
