Bio
Recruited from Fawkner, Jamie Dunlop was a towering ruckman and key position utility who fought for senior opportunities during a powerhouse era for the Carlton Football Club. Standing 196cm, he possessed the mobility to play outside the centre square, often deployed as a marking target on the wing or drifting back to intercept in defence. Arriving at Princes Park just as the Blues were celebrating their 1987 premiership success, Dunlop faced the unenviable task of trying to dislodge club legends like Justin Madden to secure a regular berth. Consequently, he spent much of his six-season tenure on the fringe of the best 22, serving as a reliable depth player who could step into the ruck or key posts when injuries struck the senior side.
