Stats
Bio
Recruited from Yarrawonga in the Ovens & Murray Football League, Jamie Stevenson was a strongly built key position prospect who stood 191cm. He made his senior debut for North Melbourne late in the 1985 season as a teenager but faced a difficult task breaking into a Kangaroos side laden with talent. After missing the entire 1986 season at senior level, Stevenson appeared to be establishing himself in 1987, playing seven of the first eight rounds before a broken collarbone sustained against Carlton derailed his momentum. He managed only sporadic appearances over the following two years and was unable to reclaim a regular spot in the 22. After his time at Arden Street concluded, Stevenson continued his career in the SANFL with Sturt and later returned to country football, where he notably booted 13 goals in a single match for Albury.
