Bio
Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 31 in the 2004 National Draft, Jarred Moore developed into a combative small forward and midfielder known for his tackling pressure and clever work in congestion. After a patient start to his career, he became a regular fixture in the Swans' lineup between 2008 and 2010, impressing the coaching staff enough to be voted into the leadership group ahead of the 2011 season. However, soft-tissue injuries and a surplus of emerging midfield talent saw him fall out of favour, and he managed just a handful of appearances in his final two campaigns. Moore was delisted following Sydney's 2012 premiership triumph—having spent the entire season in the reserves—and transitioned immediately into coaching, initially with Werribee in the VFL before serving as an assistant at North Melbourne and Gold Coast.
