Honours

Hailing from Cairns, Jarrod Harbrow began his AFL journey via the rookie list, selected by the Western Bulldogs in 2006 after initially being overlooked in the National Draft. He quickly established himself at Whitten Oval, utilising his blistering speed and agility to become a key rebounding defender during the Bulldogs' preliminary final campaigns in the late 2000s. His ability to break lines and apply defensive pressure made him a valuable asset, and he played 70 games for the club before making a significant career decision to return to his home state.

Harbrow joined the Gold Coast Suns ahead of their entry into the AFL in 2011, becoming one of the expansion club's high-profile uncontracted signings. While the Suns often struggled for on-field success, he remained a model of consistency and durability throughout their first decade. Evolving from a dashing half-back into a composed veteran leader, he provided stability in defence and became a crucial mentor for the club's developing Indigenous talent. His individual excellence was recognised when he won the Club Champion award in 2018. He retired at the end of 2021 as the first player to reach 150 games for the Suns, departing as a highly respected figure with 262 senior appearances to his name.
