Bio
A mature-age recruit from the WAFL, Jarrod Kayler-Thomson arrived at Hawthorn via pick 29 in the 2010 Rookie Draft after establishing himself as a prolific ball-winner for Perth. Utilised as a running defender and wingman capable of finding space and linking up play, he was elevated to the senior list mid-season to provide outside run for the Hawks. He played three games in the 2010 season, including a debut against Sydney, but was unable to secure a long-term future at Waverley Park and was delisted at the end of the year. Following his AFL exit, he returned to Western Australia and cemented his status as a state league great, winning multiple premierships with Subiaco and surpassing the 300-game milestone.
