Bio
Recruited from the Western Jets with pick 26 in the 2008 National Draft, Jayden Post was a versatile tall utility capable of playing key positions at either end of the ground. Standing 195cm with reliable kicking skills, he showed early promise as a swingman during Richmond's rebuilding phase, playing the bulk of his football across the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Despite his physical attributes and capacity to play both as a key defender and forward, Post struggled to impose himself on contests consistently or lock down a specific role within Damien Hardwick's evolving structure. He managed just a handful of games in his final year as competition for tall spots intensified and was delisted at the conclusion of the 2012 season.
