Bio
Recruited from Peel Thunder with pick 38 in the 2022 National Draft, Jed Adams is a left-footed key defender known for his intercept marking and reliable distribution. His path to senior football required significant patience, serving a lengthy apprenticeship with the Casey Demons in the VFL while overcoming early career injury setbacks, including shoulder surgery. A mobile tall capable of locking down opponents or reading the flight of the ball to intercept, Adams finally broke through for his AFL debut in Round 22, 2025 against the Western Bulldogs after two years of consistent reserves form. Viewed as a long-term prospect for the Demons' defence, he enters the 2026 season looking to add to his solitary senior appearance and cement a place in the backline rotation.
