Bio
Recruited from St Albans in the local Geelong competition, Jeff Kline was a rover and wingman who joined the Cats ahead of the 1970 season. While he managed to break into the senior side as a twenty-year-old, he struggled to cement a permanent position in the starting lineup, serving largely as a depth player throughout his tenure at Kardinia Park. His opportunities were scattered across four seasons, often oscillating between the reserves and the seniors as the club navigated a transitional era. Kline eventually concluded his VFL career at the end of 1973, having played 22 games and kicked three goals before departing the top level.
