Bio
Recruited from Melbourne Grammar, Jeremy Nichols was a patient developer who cut his teeth in the Under 19s from the age of 15 before finally earning a senior opportunity. He broke into John Northey’s lineup midway through the 1986 season, making an immediate impact by snagging a goal with one of his first touches in league football. While his time at the elite level was restricted to a single month of senior action, Nichols went on to forge a distinguished career in the VAFA with Old Melburnians, where he captained the side to a premiership and represented the amateur Big V. He later returned to the Demons in an administrative capacity, serving as a club director from 2013 to 2018 to assist with the organisation's off-field rebuilding phase.
