Bio
Recruited from North Launceston with pick 48 in the 2009 National Draft, Jesse Crichton arrived at Fremantle as a combat-ready midfielder known for his aggression and work rate. A tough inside ball-winner who was often deployed as a tagger or defensive forward, he built a reputation for his tackling pressure and willingness to put his body on the line, though inconsistent disposal efficiency often kept him on the fringe of regular selection. Despite showing promise as a defensive specialist, Crichton struggled to cement a permanent spot in a Fremantle side that was rapidly rising toward premiership contention under Mark Harvey and later Ross Lyon. He managed just 18 appearances across four seasons before being delisted at the conclusion of the club's successful 2013 campaign, subsequently continuing his football career at state league level in both the WAFL and his native Tasmania.
