Bio
Recruited from the Essendon District competition, James "Jim" Crow was given a brief trial with St Kilda during a difficult period for the club. Joining a side that was sliding from finals contention the previous year to the bottom of the ladder, Crow was one of several players tested as the Saints looked to arrest their poor form in 1909. He made his debut in Round 3 and held his place for three consecutive weeks, notably kicking his lone career goal in his second match. Unable to cement a regular spot in the starting lineup, he returned for a solitary appearance in early 1910 before his senior career concluded. He passed away in 1926 at the age of 40.
