Stats
Bio
Recruited from Westgarth, Jim Kemp arrived at Fitzroy in the mid-1960s and quickly displayed potential as a dangerous scoring option. Operating primarily as a forward, he demonstrated a natural goal sense, booting 23 goals at an impressive clip despite the Lions' struggles near the foot of the ladder during this era. While he proved accurate in front of the big sticks, Kemp found it difficult to command a regular position in the senior side, making sporadic appearances across three seasons. He eventually parted ways with Fitzroy following the 1967 season, leaving behind a short but efficient record in front of goal.
