Bio
A diminutive rover and forward pocket, Jock Menzies was recruited from Port Melbourne and made a brief cameo for St Kilda during the 1913 season. Standing just 169cm, he relied on his ground-level craft but found opportunities limited at the top level, featuring in only four senior games and booting a solitary goal. He returned to the Borough in the VFA early the following year, though his football journey was soon curtailed by the outbreak of World War I. Menzies enlisted in late 1914 and served in the Dardanelles campaign, where he was wounded twice in action, marking the premature end of his sporting career.
