Arriving at the Whitten Oval as a highly touted father-son selection in the 2023 National Draft, Jordan Croft followed in the footsteps of his father Matthew, a long-serving defender for the club. Unlike his father, Jordan established himself as a dynamic key forward, possessing exceptional endurance and agility for a 200cm prospect. After the Bulldogs matched a first-round bid to secure his services, he spent time developing his frame in the VFL before breaking into the senior side in 2024, showing immediate promise by hitting the scoreboard in his brief initial stint. Viewed as a long-term structural pillar for the Bulldogs' forward line alongside fellow talls Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Aaron Naughton, Croft remains a developing talent working to build the physical resilience required for regular senior football.
