Stats
Bio
Selected with pick 52 in the 2008 National Draft from the Geelong Falcons, Jordan Jones was a versatile defender noted for his intercept marking and ability to read the play. Despite arriving at West Coast during a rebuilding phase that theoretically offered opportunities for youth, Jones found it difficult to crack the senior side, spending the vast majority of his three-year tenure developing with WAFL affiliate Peel Thunder. He made his AFL debut late in the 2010 season, playing two consecutive matches against Brisbane and Geelong, but could not retain his spot in the defensive rotation. Unable to bridge the gap between state league form and senior football, Jones was delisted at the conclusion of the 2011 season and returned to Victoria where he became a consistent performer in the VFL.
