Bio
Arriving at the Gabba as a father-son rookie selection, Jordon Bourke followed in the footsteps of his father, former Brisbane and Geelong ruckman Damian Bourke. A versatile key position player who often swung between centre half-forward and defence in the reserves, he earned a senior elevation in 2014 to make his debut in a win over Greater Western Sydney. While he demonstrated strong hands and aerial competitiveness during his brief stint at the top level, he was unable to secure a permanent key post in the Lions' structure. Bourke was delisted at the conclusion of the 2015 season after just six senior games, eventually transitioning into a decorated career in the VFL.
