Bio
Recruited from North Adelaide with pick 23 in the 2018 Rookie Draft, Jordon Sweet spent his formative years at the Western Bulldogs developing his craft behind All-Australian Tim English. A traditional ruckman valued for his physical aggression and ability to generate hitouts to advantage, he found senior opportunities scarce at Whitten Oval, managing just 11 appearances across five seasons. Seeking greater continuity and a return to his home state, Sweet requested a trade to Port Adelaide at the end of 2023. The move revitalised his career, as he quickly overtook fellow recruit Ivan Soldo to cement himself as the Power's first-choice ruckman, providing the midfield with a consistent and combative presence at stoppages.
