Bio
A product of the GWS Giants Academy, Josaia Delana became a symbol of the club's investment in Western Sydney talent when he was signed as a Category B rookie ahead of the 2025 season. Hailing from a rugby league background with Fijian heritage, Delana transitioned to Australian rules football as a teenager and quickly established himself as a high-pressure small forward known for his explosive sidestep and relentless tackling. He broke into the senior side for his debut during the 2025 Sydney Derby, bringing manic energy to the Giants' forward line across his initial handful of appearances. While he is yet to register his first major at the top level, Delana's defensive application and speed at ground level have marked him as a developing prospect pushing for regular selection.
