Bio
Recruited from Southport as a Queensland zone selection, Joseph Daye was a rangy left-footed utility who joined the Gold Coast Suns for their inaugural AFL campaign. Possessing natural athleticism and a penetrating kick, he showed early promise as a half-forward or wingman, notably featuring in the first-ever QClash against the Brisbane Lions. However, Daye struggled to find consistency or a defined role within the developing squad, and after failing to add to his game tally in his second year, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2012 season.
