Bio
A creative small forward from the prolific Sandringham Dragons talent pathway, Josh Dolan slipped to the Western Bulldogs at pick 31 in the 2024 National Draft after a meniscus injury disrupted his final junior campaign. Known for his high energy and "spunk," Dolan is a pacey half-forward who utilises his work rate to connect midfield transition to attack, drawing immediate stylistic comparisons to teammate Cody Weightman. He managed to break into the senior side for 11 games during his debut 2025 season, and while he only registered a single major, his pressure acts and defensive application kept him in the selection mix. Heading into his second year, he remains a developing prospect looking to add more scoreboard impact as he fights to consolidate a permanent spot in the Bulldogs' forward rotation.
