Josh Hall

Recruited as a cross-code project player, Josh Hall joined the Gold Coast Suns with a background as an elite high jumper who had represented Australia at the World Junior Championships. He was secured via the Queensland zone access and spent his initial seasons developing his craft in the reserves, relying on his vertical leap and speed to impact contests. Hall made his senior debut in 2012 but found it difficult to secure a regular position in the Suns' forward line, often playing as a depth option who brought athleticism but lacked natural football instincts. He played 10 games over four seasons before being delisted at the end of 2015, subsequently switching codes again to pursue a career in rugby league with the Penrith Panthers.
