Bio
Recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick 50 in the 2012 National Draft, Josh Prudden was a hard-at-it midfielder capable of playing a defensive role across half-back. His five seasons at the Western Bulldogs were defined by persistent injury setbacks that prevented him from establishing a regular spot in the senior lineup. After developing in the VFL during his first two years, Prudden broke through for his debut in Round 15, 2015, playing four consecutive matches where he showcased his contested ball-winning ability. However, an ankle injury cut that run short, and a devastating ACL rupture the following season wiped out his entire 2016 campaign. Although the Bulldogs re-rookied him for 2017, he was unable to add to his game tally and was delisted at the conclusion of that season.
