Bio
Recruited from the Burnie Dockers in Tasmania, Justin Plapp was selected by Richmond with pick 41 in the 1997 National Draft. A versatile left-footer capable of playing at both ends of the ground, he showed glimpses of potential as a lead-up forward and rebounding defender but found consistency elusive at the top level. After two seasons at Punt Road, Plapp was traded to St Kilda in exchange for a third-round draft pick, hoping to secure a regular senior berth. He added 26 games to his tally over three seasons at Moorabbin but was ultimately delisted at the end of 2002, eventually transitioning into a highly respected coaching career within the VFL and AFL systems.
