Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Northern Knights with the 13th overall selection in the 1994 National Draft, Kane Fraser entered the AFL system with significant expectations as a first-round pick. A midfielder capable of winning his own ball, he was forced to bide his time in the reserves before making his senior debut in 1996. Fraser found it difficult to secure a regular spot in the Hawthorn lineup during a turbulent era for the club, managing just one game in his first active season and four appearances the following year. Unable to translate his junior form into consistent senior output, he spent the entire 1998 season in the seconds before being delisted, leaving the Hawks as a highly touted prospect who unfortunately failed to make the grade at the elite level.
