Bio
Recruited from Kerang in country Victoria, Karl Fedke was a sturdy utility who earned his senior opportunity with Geelong late in the 1982 season. Standing 185cm, he was often undersized for the key positions he occupied but showed considerable grit on debut against Essendon at Windy Hill, where he battled in the ruck against the formidable Madden brothers. While his senior VFL career was limited to just two appearances, Fedke secured his place in club history as a member of the Cats' 1982 Reserves premiership side. Following his time at Kardinia Park, he moved to the SANFL to play for Glenelg in 1983 before eventually returning to Victorian country football to coach Corio.
