Bio
Recruited from Croydon during the Second World War, Keith Cook holds a unique place in Richmond history alongside his identical twin brother, Fred, with whom he shared a Round 1 debut in 1944. A versatile utility player whose career was played against the backdrop of RAAF service, Cook's most significant on-field moment came as the 19th man in the 1944 Grand Final, where he was substituted into the match at half-time during the Tigers' loss to Fitzroy. He departed Punt Road after the 1946 season to join Camberwell in the VFA, but maintained a lifelong connection to the club, serving as president of the Former Players and Officials Association for over a decade until his passing in 1971.
