Bio
Hailing from the tiny Mallee wheat town of Tempy, Keith Robertson was a pacy winger whose path to North Melbourne was largely accidental. Originally in the city for university studies, he was spotted having a casual kick while watching a friend train at Arden Street and was swiftly invited to join the squad. Although he managed a handful of senior appearances in his first two years, he stepped away from the VFL in 1959 to prioritize his teaching degree and play local football, eventually returning in 1960 to cement his spot in the side. Known for his blistering speed, safe hands, and elite delivery, he peaked in 1962 with a runner-up finish in the club's Best and Fairest award. He later became the patriarch of a rare footballing feat when his sons, Rohan and Shane, debuted for the Kangaroos on the same day in 1985.
