Bio
Recruited from local side Hawthorn City, Keith White was a diminutive wingman and rover who found limited opportunities during a brief VFL career. He debuted for Hawthorn in 1953 but struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior side, managing just 16 games over three seasons as a fringe player in a developing lineup. Seeking greater opportunity, White transferred to VFA club Box Hill in 1956, where his pace and clean ball use saw him become an immediate star. He finished runner-up in the 1957 J.J. Liston Trophy and went on to play a superb 171 games for the club, eventually earning selection on the wing in Box Hill's Team of the Century. While his time at the top level was short, White is remembered as a titan of the VFA and one of the premier players in Box Hill's history.
