Bio
Recruited from the Collingwood Imperials, Kelly Robinson was a foundational player for Fitzroy who enjoyed immense success during the VFL's formative years. The Tooborac native made the wing his own, becoming a dual premiership player in the Maroons' historic back-to-back flag victories of 1898 and 1899. A disciplined contributor rather than a headline-grabber, Robinson managed just one goal in his 57-game career, finally finding the sticks against Collingwood in the opening round of the 1900 season. He remained a constant presence in the side through three consecutive Grand Final appearances, cementing his legacy as a reliable outside midfielder in one of the league's first dominant teams.
