Bio
Taken with pick six in the 2003 National Draft, Kepler Bradley arrived at Essendon with the heavy burden of expectation placed on a top-ten key position prospect. Recruited from West Perth, the lanky utility struggled to find consistency at Windy Hill, often alternating between key posts without cementing a permanent role. After four seasons where his unorthodox kicking style and fluctuating form drew mixed reviews, he returned to his home state via a trade to Fremantle ahead of the 2008 season.
At the Dockers, Bradley eventually shed the weight of his early draft status to become a valuable structural player and a genuine cult figure among the purple army. While never the most graceful operator, he was a deceptively effective tall option who could pinch-hit in the ruck or present as a marking target inside 50. His best football came in 2011, where he booted 25 goals and finished inside the top ten of the club's best and fairest, but an ACL injury in 2013 effectively curtailed his career. He retired in 2014, remembered fondly for his persistence and ability to maximise his unique physical attributes.
