Bio
Recruited from Port Fairy in the Hampden Football League, Kerrin Hayes was a medium-sized forward who joined Fitzroy during the early 1970s. Standing 180cm, he operated primarily as a half-forward flanker with the capacity to push forward and hit the scoreboard. He broke into the senior side for the first time in 1973, playing his home football at the Junction Oval, but found it difficult to command a permanent spot in the Lions' lineup. Although he managed a respectable return of five goals from his eight senior appearances, his stint at VFL level was brief, concluding after the 1974 season.
